ITC Level 3 Paediatric First Aid
This course is offered with the blended learning opportunity. The full course is 12hours long however each candidate will be sent a sign up to an online e-learn course which takes 6 hours to complete, this contains all theory and practical aspects of the course.
Each candidate will then complete a 6 hours face to face course which they will be given guidance, support and training and then to be assessed competent in all practical aspects of First Aid. On completion of both parts of the course they will receive a full paediatric first aid certificate.
This qualification is designed for workers caring for children in the absence of their parents. This qualification meets Ofsted requirements for those working in early years settings. Currently the EYFS statutory framework requires at least one person who has a current paediatric first aid certificate to be on the premises or outings at all times, when children are present.
